SOSS2 SUMMER UPDATE!

Hope everyone is doing well! I just checked and I can’t believe that I have not posted anything here regarding an update! I apologize, everything has been a little nuts here on my end personally.
So, here is where we are at with the upcoming SOSS2 Show coming up in (wow) a month!
LOCATION/SET TIMES: So we were just at the field for another event a few weeks ago and It looks great! We have a nice big field and the stage is set so we will have a nice setup. Here’s what we are thinking….
We will need ALL bands to be at the site @ 1 pm EST to help with getting the place setup and ready to go when people start showing up. FULL BACKLINE will be provided so you will only need to bring band wise:
1) your instruments (duh)
2) snare and hardware/cymbals for drums
3) Any effects or other things you personally need for your performance.
Here’s what we have available set time wise. Each band will have @ 45 minutes with @ 15 minutes in-between for setup/breakdown:

4PM-5:45PM THE CRITICALLY ASHAMED
6PM-6:45PM
7PM-7:45PM
8PM-8:45PM
PLEASE CONTACT US ASAP WITH WHAT TIME YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE. IF WE DO NOT HEAR BACK BY JULY 28TH WE WILL ASSIGN A TIME FOR YOU.
This event will also be FREE to attend and we allow BYOB, so bring your lawn chairs, coolers, etc. and encourage your fans to do so as well. We have been looking into getting food trucks to show up, but they cost $$$$$
MERCH TABLE: There will be tables available for you to set up your stuff and sell throughout the show. there will be NO fees for selling your merch there, bands are responsible for selling their own stuff.
If you would like to have one of the SOS staff to be there and sell your stuff for you, we can provide that but be advised they will be taking $2 per any sale to do so.
ADVERTISING/PROMO: We currently have an event invite going on Facebook (https://fb.me/e/3JdyHp3hM) we encourage ALL of you to share this one and invite all of your fans so we know what to expect attendance wise. SOS has also created an ad and have boosted it to promote. if you see it, PLEASE share it!
Jim and WXAX has also been promoting the show with a live read on their station, which we have been playing as well on our “Hey Pal What’s New?” podcast.
PAYMENT: As mentioned in the last email this is a FREE event, so bands will make money by DONATIONS ONLY plus whatever they make at the merch table. A donation bucket will be on the side of the stage during each performance and bands can collect whatever they receive at the end of their set. We are encouraging all of the performers AND their fans to:
1) STAY for each band to support each band on the roster. I get it, you have Trevor’s soccer practice the next day, you want to catch that episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” you DVR’d. but PLEASE if you show up, play and bolt after we will notice and keep that in our head for next time.
2) PROMOTE: it takes 2 seconds to share the event on your pages, if you are going to be a part of this and you want people there, help us help you.
3) SUPPORT: There are 6 bands on this, with an average of @ 4 members in each band, If you are watching a band on the bill, toss a buck or two in their bucket for each band to let them know you dig em. NOBODY is walking away with millions, but it would be nice to at least have a few bucks in your pocket right?
