outta my head

OUTTA MY HEAD is an eclectic Metal band based in upstate NY that was formed in 2022. They don't like to think "outside of the box", they believe there IS NO BOX. Every member of the band has a diverse pallet of influences, and they strive to inject that musical diversity into their songs. Elements of Rock, Metal, Funk, and Blues are all present in the music they write. Their goal is to offer something for everyone. Music is a universal language that touches everyone differently. They strive to invoke emotion and reflection with their music and lyrics. “As tough as life can be, we want our listeners to know, you’re not alone in this world”.

Music is a journey, and we want to take our fans along with us. You don't get an inside look at a band's journey trying to navigate the music industry, but we want to try and do just that. We want to include our fans every step of the way. Without them, we are nothing.

Most of the band's lyrical content touches on the difficulties life may throw in your path with topics like drug addiction, betrayal, domestic abuse, depression, and self reflection.  “It sounds dark ,” says Anderson, “ but we try to tell a story. One that our listeners can relate to. One that we have all experienced in one capacity or another, whether it's ourselves or a loved one. But, our stories end with resolution, they end with overcoming those obstacles. No matter how dark the tunnel, there is a light at the end of it. If we can touch one soul, help one person through a tough time, well then, mission accomplished as far as I am concerned.”
